Workshops, Classes, and Touring Programs

In our workshops children have the opportunity to learn about (and use) real-world tools like sandpaper, tape measures, hand staplers and low-temp glue (all under careful supervision) as they use a variety of materials to build their own one-of-a-kind puppet creation.

Directors Notes to Parents

At Geppettos, children design and build their own original characters, learn to make a puppet play, and put on a one-of-a-kind show for an audience of family and friends. Each class is a new adventure as children learn about various puppet styles, performance technique, and how to create a puppet show from start to finish. On stage, children learn how to bring life to puppets using their fingers, hands and voices.  As well as puppets, kids create original plays, using improvisation games and practicing dramatics skills through theater exercises.  These workshops are the culmination many years of working with children in classroom and stage settings.
